Home in a Wall-less House
Cris Noguer
The project reflects the current living conditions in New York City. Its focus is on shared housing, and its problems and opportunities. It takes the idea of home from personal and private to shared and experiential. It questions the objects, construction, materials, and layout of current houses to find better solutions for shared housing. The solution is based on city planning and negotiating between private and public. The materials it uses are natural, sound absorbent and personable. There is a connection with the rooftop, making the living experience more intense and memorable.
The project has been developed within the context of the MFA Interior Design program at Parsons School of Design.
