Hourglasses
Agustina Woodgate

The Hourglasses are a series of 5 hand blown glass pieces suspended on thin delicate stainless steel frames. They encapsulate The Hague’s humid air and raw diamond dust purchased from Dream City, the biggest diamond trader in the world. These hourglasses contain values of temperatures, time and labour expressed in raw diamond market value. The work was realised within the context of "More Heat Than Light", solo exhibition by Agustina Woodgate at Stroom den Haag.
