This project seeks to bridge the gap between research and design in adaptive reuse, whereby a collaborative reuse scenario through case studies in selected Danish neighborhoods is imagined. With existing research on construction, design history and policy demonstrating a promising potential for reuse and engagement with greater audience including the residents, the project seeks to push reuse further and explore a resource and user-based approach to architectural design. This thesis project was conducted at Cornell University under the supervision of Felix Heisel and Samia Henni.
