Winning proposal of the "Powerless City" competition hosted by NonArchitecture. The city consists of one main tower, main source of energy, surrounded by 7 smaller ones. The water going from the main tower to the magma evaporates and generates electrical energy creating pressure. This energy is then distributed to the city. Energy is also produced by solar panels. Moreover, vertical propellers are used at the top of the shells to generate energy from the wind while rainwater is collected through gaps at the top of the towers dedicated to agriculture.
