Nai-Soi Market
Napat Yanotai

This project preserves the disappearing street food culture by reorganizing its sales methods. Envision a vibrant hub in Bangkok’s center, bustling with 75 curated stalls and rotating vendors. It begins at the SHOPHOUSE MARKET, an all-day-to-night food paradise. Steel structures, attached to shophouses, create new commercial spaces without disrupting the owners' lifestyles. Daytime offers diverse Thai dishes; nighttime brings live music, cooking classes, and a rooftop bar. Further along is the SOOD-SOI MARKET, open from 8 am to 5 pm, providing fresh ingredients, made-to-order meals, and shaded dining areas, seamlessly linked to rooftop activities. The project was developed within the context of INDA Chulalongkorn University.
