A certain kind of violence emerges from the proposition of norm and its optimization. This drawing questions the influence of architect's Data in the built environment and its representation, mostly dominated by the careless repetition of a canonical single human figure using the DIN (Deutsche Industrie Normen) and the ISO (International Standard Organization) as the unit of measurement for a sterile and controlled dimensional requirement in building design and site planning. Perhaps the un-built environment is more capable of housing the fantasies of the inconcrete and non-standard, making connections between apparently unrelated things regarding issues of time, use, nationality, gender, and race.
