In the light of current climate changes and the focus on ecology, this project examines the ways and possibilities of mine rehabilitation and remediation with the help of local characteristics of the area in numerous mines of the Radan mountain, with the aim of creating design models that would contribute to the restoration of ecological balance and land remediation. This idea is based on the assumption that it is possible, in the case of Mount Radan (RS), to establish a connection between seemingly incompatible concepts, mines and bees, and thereby simultaneously promote mining, as an important branch of the economy, and the significant role of beekeeping in the culture and tradition of this area, but primarily as a symbol of the living world and its return. To meet the planet's energy and nutrient needs, design models can be testing grounds for new and renewable technologies. Nanotechnology in ore mining is currently being researched. Honey-mediated green synthesized gold and silver nanoparticles can be used as potent antibacterial agents. The project has been developed within the context of the University of Belgrade.
