Time Tower is a performative architecture that alters the perception of time through light, air, movement, and sound, aiming to bring viewers to the here-and now. Positioned between two other clock-towers, it is a clock-tower with a sundial. Citizens walk the "Land of Hoboken" with a storyteller, stopping to collectively blow time and location-specific balloons to be hung on the tower’s façade as time-space capsules. It was initially designed for a competition invited by Omi and Air Rotterdam for the 2024 Rotterdam Architecture Month, calling for a temporary watchtower and exhibition space in the garden of House Sonnenveld in Rotterdam.
