"Transspecies Kitchen" is a projet by Andrés Jaque (Office for Political Innovation) exhibited at the 6th Tallinn Architecture Biennale, within the main curatorial exhibition "Edible". The project focuses "on the fact that digestion is fundamentally a process that unfolds as an interspecies alliance [...] A large part of cooking practices is very much expanding on those processes, such as the use of fungi and different ways to introduce material transformations where raw organic material is processed to facilitate digestion. We could conceptualise that it is a way to externalise and understand digestion as a process that is distributed and collectively produced beyond the confinement of the body." (Andrés Jaque)
