If standards where initially finalised to the democratisation of the architectural project that detaches itself from economic and social privilege through a universal rise in minimum accommodation and basic comfort, today they reveal to be incomplete and limiting, often ignoring present forms of discomfort.
The image is a reaction to a series of towers in Milan built with heavy prefabrication systems. It seeks an alternative way of reading the two dimensional drawing of the detail on paper and tries to propose a lens through which to unveil existing gaps and react to these through the notion of care materialised in the element of the joint. The act of attaching or getting attached to, seeks to guarantee the possibility of tracing the spaces we live in, counteracting the contemporary tendency of sealing and concealing people and stories behind sanitized and efficient layers of performance.
