 is a civic installation currently exhibited at Columbia University GSAPP in which a public easel is being altered, argued, negotiated, erased, and re-designed. Curated by a group of graduating students from the Master of Architecture program, this installation is an active test bed for how creative space is taken, re-taken, passed down with every alteration, where a new author takes ownership of a once blank canvas. The project was conceived from a question about how people invest and maintain civic space when there is an aspect of craft and care involved.
