The living is characterized by movement, in time and space. Our project for Quimper is the vision of a neighbourhood defined according to the three temporalities specific to the site: the tide, the unstable time related to the climatic hazards; the day, short and recurring time of the daily life; the seasons, time of the human and natural constructions.
These cycles translate the constant dynamics of the living city. The constructions, plantations, and paths create links between the districts and the topography. The natural spaces communicate with each other through the
movement of water and interaction of biotopes.
The project is the winner of the Europan 16 Award Winner, Living Cities _Special Honours.
