In the heart of the Florence–Prato–Pistoia Plain, the intervention by (ab)Normal + Captcha and Emilio Vavarella investigates the places and production processes of the Tuscan pastoral idyll. The project interprets this nursery-producing region as an exceptional “backroom” that not only provides the character of a vast area, but also becomes a laboratory where to reflect on the relationship between nature and technology.
