Philipp Sattler is a researcher, artist, architect, educator and founding member of Das Gesellschaftliche Ding. His transdisciplinary work concerns the material and conceptual conditions, spatial manifestations, and ecological devastations of agriculture, mining, and property and the relationships between the rural and the urban. He is an Assistant Professor at Graz University of Technology, and PhD student at the Royal College of Art.
